A simple one-step electrochemical deposition of bioinspired nanocomposite for the non-enzymatic detection of dopamine

Abstract A simple and cost - effective electrochemical synthesis of carbon based nanomaterials for biosensor is great challenge these days. Our study describes a single step deposition strategy to prepare nanocomposite electrochemically reduced graphene oxide (ErGO), multi walled nanotubes (MWCNTs), polypyrrole (PPy) in an aqueous solution pH 7.0 dopamine (DA) detection. The ErGO/MWCNTs/PPy nanocomposites show enhanced performance due the strong ?–?* stacking interactions among ErGO, MWCNTs, PPy. efficient interaction confirmed by evaluating its physical characteristics using field emission scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy, impedance cyclic voltammetry, amperometry. deposited are highly stable on substrates possess high surface areas, which vital improve sensitivity selectivity DA controlled can provide detection DA. sensor demonstrates short time response within 2 s sensitive approach with dynamic linear range 25–1000 nM ( R = 0.999). limit estimated be 2.3 nM, calculated 8.96 ?A ?M ?1 cm ?2 , no distinct responses observed other biological molecules.
